TLDR : Answer Summary
The best place to apply for a 30-day visa extension in Bangkok is the immigration office located at IT Square Laksi Plaza. It is especially noted that if you are on a visa-exempt entry, you must present a TM30 receipt, which confirms your registration at your current accommodation. The local authorities are strictly enforcing this requirement, so ensure you have the necessary documentation before proceeding.

If you are doing an AirBNB make sure you insist on a TM30 if you are thinking of extending. Lots of ABNB less than a 30 day rental do not want to provide it due to the tax liability and the law.

I’m past that point now but when I was in that situation they demanded a TM30 for the extension.

BTW I was on a METV and they still demanded it.

If you're here on a 60 day "free stamp" (visa exempt entry there is no "best place" in Bangkok 😮 There is ONE place to go for 30 day extensions on free stamp entries and that's the immigration office out at IT Square Laksi Plaza.

There are photo copy shops right next to the immigration office in that building

You NEED a TM30 receipt to show you're registered as staying in Bangkok. They are getting hella hard on that now over there

This is the location
