Bangkok visa extension, I’m extending my 30 day visa exempt with 30 more days. Is it the immigration division 1 in Ratthaprasasanabhakti (the huge government complex) or the smaller one at IT square (for short term visa) by Wat Lake Si?

Everytime I’ve been extending the last two years I went to the wrong one, if anyone knows which is the correct one (for 30day visa EXCEMPT extension) I would appreciate it as it’s stressful enoguh as is 😅

Can I ask, you enter Thailand on 30 day visa. Then out of country and hopefully you have 30 day more.

Is it finnished after that, or can you get maximum 90 days all together.?

You can get a 30 day tourism extension on a visa exempt entry then if you border bounce you can get another 30 day extension on that 30 day entry stamp.

yes but no, I didn’t take note of why they pointed me to the other one each time. One visa extension, one visa exempt extension, both wrong lol. And during covid if I recall correctly I got it wrong as well as extending an already extended 60 day extension was indeed done at immigration complex and not at it square, so now the fourth time I just want it right.

Visa exempt extensions are done at IT Square Laksi.

It's only people that have an actual visa that they purchased from a Thai embassy or consulate that use the Chaeng Watthana office.
