Which place should I go for a 30-day visa exempt extension in Bangkok?
Bangkok visa extension, I’m extending my 30 day visa exempt with 30 more days. Is it the immigration division 1 in Ratthaprasasanabhakti (the huge government complex) or the smaller one at IT square (for short term visa) by Wat Lake Si?
Everytime I’ve been extending the last two years I went to the wrong one, if anyone knows which is the correct one (for 30day visa EXCEMPT extension) I would appreciate it as it’s stressful enoguh as is 😅

Can I ask, you enter Thailand on 30 day visa. Then out of country and hopefully you have 30 day more.

You can get a 30 day tourism extension on a visa exempt entry then if you border bounce you can get another 30 day extension on that 30 day entry stamp.Björn **********

Sorry to have to ask here, but if everytime you've gone to the wrong one, then surely by now you'd know to go to the other one?

yes but no, I didn’t take note of why they pointed me to the other one each time. One visa extension, one visa exempt extension, both wrong lol. And during covid if I recall correctly I got it wrong as well as extending an already extended 60 day extension was indeed done at immigration complex and not at it square, so now the fourth time I just want it right.

Visa exempt extensions are done at IT Square Laksi.
It's only people that have an actual visa that they purchased from a Thai embassy or consulate that use the Chaeng Watthana office.
