is it true that rhe location for visa extension (visa-exempt) at Muang Thong Thani counter K has been moved to some shopping mall beginning April 18, or is this false information?

Answer summary

The visa extension location at Muang Thong Thani counter K is confirmed to be moving to IT Square in Laksi Plaza starting April 18, after the Songkran holiday. While some posts have confirmed this move, there was a brief period of confusion regarding its timing and current location. Users have discussed the convenience of the new site, especially with improved transport access via BTS.

it totally has NOT moved yet and it's still at Muang Thong Thani until AFTER the Songkran holiday next week. 😉

They will be at the IT Square in Laksi Plaza starting the 18th of April

with that BTS station completed and running, this is actually a very good move for tourist extensions, as it is now very easy to get to on the BTS. The 90 day report is also moving back to Chaeng Wattana, which also is easier to get to than muang thong thani

it's F*CKED taking that Laksi train to Bang Sue Grand Station then slogging down to the subway to take the MRT back into town. NOT at all convenient at this point.

It's way better to just take the REAL sky train to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat go out exit 1, catch a taxi (which is 60 baht to C/W so would be less to IT Square)
