To get a visa at HCMC, they ask for proof of accommodation.

Is accomodation for the first 3 days accepted? Or do they want to see it for a longer period?

I'm currently on a family visa and have been for 3 years. Due to errors and miscalculation, I will not be able to extend this time as I will be out of the country working when is due for renewal. Will I be able to return on a 30 day visa exempt stamp? If yes, how many entries before I get pulled, if no, where is the best / easiest place to get a Non O multiple entry visa? I have been pulled by immigration once 4 years ago and told to get a visa, which I did but will this be recorded somewhere and cause a problem?

Is there a least-amount-of-hassle consulate near Thailand to apply for Non-B work visa? Perhaps Singapore, HK, Bali, Penang, or HCMC? Thanks for any advice.
