Hi, is it possible to get a marriage visa based on income (40k+ every month for the last 12 months from Savannakhet with or without tax shown)? I ask because Korat immigration have not given me a clear answer, if I may apply or not at the end of February from this previously offered option. I showed them all the correct documents to make the requirements, but they made me wait for two hours without an answer due to the new tax laws on overseas income. They could not tell me, if I had to show tax paid or if they could even issue the visa, if I had my taxes to show after talking to the immigration ‘boss’ in Korat and Kohn Kaen.

Hello group, anyone recently been to savanakhet for a non-o single entry (90 day) for thai family/wife. I dont see any information about this visa type on the embassy website nor its required paperwork. will I need an appointment or is it walk-in only? I believe i will need a bank statement to show 400k in the bank but with no season time requirement? Thanks for your help.

REPORT: Suvannakhet Non-O based on marriage multiple entry (12 mths).

Took a drive myself, had the vehicle passport to cross the boarder. Crossing the boarder took all of 1 hour with the car. Got to the Embassy at 7.30am, was 17th in line. Once it opened at 9am, took another 45minutes to hand in the paperwork including

1. Form filled out

2. Orig Marriage Cert + copies signed by wife

3. Tabian Ban for wife signed by her

4. Thai ID copied both sides signed by her

5. Copies of my passport

6. 5000thb

Went back the next day at 1.30pm, gates opened at 2pm, I had my passport in hand, back in the car and back over the boarder and into Thailand by 2.45pm
