TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-O visa, 1-year multiple entry, is generally not available at Savannakhet for parents of Thai children. Typically, applicants receive a 90-day single entry Non-O visa, followed by a 60-day extension for visiting family in Thailand, after which they can reapply for another 90-day single entry. There is one confirmed instance of a person successfully obtaining a year-long multiple entry Non-O visa by bringing his Thai child and child's mother to Savannakhet, but this is not a guaranteed option for others.

As a rule NO it is not. They will issue you a 90 day single entry Non-O, then you get a 60 day visit thai family extension at the immigration office then you go back and get another 90 day single entry Non-O again. I know people who have done that process for years and years.

There was ONE verified report (I saw the visa) where a guy took his thai child and the child's thai mother with him to Savannakhet and he was able to get a year-long, multi-entry based on being the father of a thai child born out of wedlock.

That is the ONLY case I've ever heard of AND just because he was able to get it lugging his family there does NOT mean your experience would be the same.

I can tell you didn't look at the website because it clearly says their processing time.

I have no issues answering questions I DO have issues spoon-feeding people stuff they can find on the website ๐Ÿ™

You apply one morning and you pick up the passport the next working day in the afternoon.
