What do you need to know about a tourist visa extension? You'd go to the immigration on Tuesday and ask for the handouts on what they expect for an extension of stay based on being a tourist.

Is this the first extension of a Tourist Visa you purchased and entered Thailand on?

If it is...your first 30 days...

For 30 days extension You need ONLY:

-passport

-copy of passport front page

-copy of stamp/visa page

-copy of TM6 form (arrival card)

-filled TM7 form (application)

-two photos

-1,900 Thai baht

But be aware that some immigration offices also may require proof of a TM30 filing.

As Benjamin said...to be sure ask your local immigration office.
