Sorry if this has been asked already, but struggling to find in the search and I'd like info that is as up to date as possible... I need to go to Laos to get a non-b because my employer left it very late to process work permit and get an extension at immigration. We obtained the work permit with few problems but immigration weren't happy with some things. Due to my employer leaving it to the last day, it's meant my non-b doesn't have enough days left on it, so I have to go to Laos.
So, my question is just about the choice between Savanaket or Vientiane. Can anyone advise which place may be more 'user friendly' for the visa I need. Also, are there any requirements or 'proof ofs' needed for this trip? Will the embassy or immigration at either place ask for proof of funds or address etc?
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether Savannakhet or Vientiane is more accommodating for obtaining a Non-B visa after needing to leave Thailand due to issues with their work permit. Comments indicate that both locations require the same documentation, primarily related to the work permit and necessary employer documents.
