Hi, are you worried about being asked to pay taxes after you have been in Thailand for a while with DTV?

I'm considering to apply for a DTV on the basis of a dentist appointment, regarding a crown procedure. Would a print of the appointment be enough to get approved?

Pls help me, where can i get the airline ticket reservation, for my thailand tourist visa application requirements??

My husband and I are UK citizens and travel to Thailand frequently as our son and granddaughter live there. Our son stays on a work visa and our granddaughter holds both a Thai and British passport.

When the ability to enter for 60 days came into effect with the option to extend to 90 days, my husband and I booked flights.

October - November for 49 days, we then booked flights December - March 89 days. We have now found out we can only stay a maximum of 90 days on a tourist visa over 6 month period.

We are both retired aged over 60 years old, is there another visa we can apply for before we consider changing our flights.

Hi! What do I need to extend my tourist visa in Bangkok? I have a 30 day tourist visa, and I want to extend for another 30 days. I hear that I need a passport photo and copies of my passport ID and of course proof of onwards travel. Also, I hear that I need proof of where I am staying. What do they need to see for this, or do I just fill out a form with my address on it?

Also, if they are extending from May 31st for 30 days is a flight to Cambodia on June 29th within the 30 days, or should I book a flight a few days earlier? I feel like that flight is on the very last day, and I'm not sure that's allowed.

Hey, I have two seperate questions...

I want to apply for a 60 day tourist visa while I'm in Vietnam. But it says that I have to show "Confirmation of legal residence in the country where you apply for the visa". Does this just mean I can show my Vietnam visa?

Also... I have already done 2 land crossings this year. Does the 2 land crossings per year restart at the beginning of the new calendar year, or is it 12 months from my first land crossing?

Hi all, I’m currently in Chiang Rai as a tourist on visa exempt and I want to get the non-o visa based of retirement.

I went to the local immigration office to enquire more and I fulfil all the requirements except for having a thai bank account with 800k baht in it (I have the 800k in my home country ready).

I then went to every single bank here to try and open an account but was told I needed either a non-o, non-b etc. and I couldn’t open one as a tourist.

May I know what can I do in this situation whereby I need the bank account to get the non-o, yet I need the non-o to get the bank account? How am I suppose to be able to do either when I can’t do 1 without the other?
