Hi all,

I haven't done a 90-day report in person in years, but since the system is down, I have to make the trek to MTT. Just looked at a number of sites and unsurprisingly see a list of different requirements to bring. Can someone check this for me please? THX!

- original passport, TM.6, and 90 day notification receipt

- copies of all passport pages

- copies of front and back of TM.6

- completed TM.47 form

<quite a few sites state bring a 4x6 cm photo but I assume this is not needed>

TR Visa successfully extended without embassy letter - Chiang Mai (1st extension).

I'm Italian, Single Entry TR, I got stamped 60 days back in February, then amnesty came in before I could make my regular 30-day extension.

I went to CM immigration office (Promenada mall) a couple of weeks ago and got rejected because of no embassy letter.

Yesterday in this group I read Brett' successful story and decided to give it a try again.

Weird enough, the same officer who last time told me I needed the embassy letter, this time got me in.

Other than the passport, you'd need the following documents:

Copy front page passport (1)

Copy of Visa (1)

Copy of entry stamp (1)

TM.6 (1)

TM.30 (1 copy)

Request of extension form (TM.7)

As I didn't have TM.30 it took me way longer to get that first. But with all the papers in my hands, it took just a bit more than 2 hours.

If it wasn't for this group and especially Brett' story I wouldn't have tried again.

It's a hit or miss. But if you missed it the first time and you are in CM (dunno about other cities), you might want to try again.

Thank you again guys for sharing all your stories.

So after reading multiple guides and being told by the staff at my building. I went to the police station to report a lost departure card prior to going to immigration. And now they said no need to worry if you have a stamp in your passport... Sigh.
