TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM 6 number is your arrival/departure slip given upon entry into Thailand, which you need to report your stay online. To use the online reporting system, you must have entered Thailand by land after 2014 or by air after 2013. If you encounter errors during online filing, it may indicate that your TM6 data is not available in the system, prompting a need for in-person reporting. Ensure to apply for online reporting between 15 days and 7 days before your 90-day reporting deadline.

okay, for the online system to work you need to have entered the country by land at least after 2014 and by air after about 2013 or so otherwise your TM.6 departure card is not in the online data base (no matter how many times you've filed a 90 day report in person).

To use the online program you also need to apply from 15 days before down until 7 days BEFORE your current due date. Outside that widow of opportunity the online program won't work.

If you're getting this error message it means one of the above criteria is not met and you need to do it in person or by mail.

James Cree I have seen this before. It's how the database was set up. I believe the date you would of needed to leave and come back was after

to get in the system for the first time.

i have been reporting in person every 90 days since 2007 - i have never used the online reporting before

I think you'll need to weather the storm at immigration and see what's what. I believe the 90 day clock starts again from your application in Feb, - but not knowing your visa / 90 day reporting status prior to that - its difficult to say with any certainty - sorry

If you haven't been out of the country since 2007 you won't be able to use online reporting.

James - what are you reporting - 90day / or residence (tm30)

For 90day You'll need to have submitted at least once in person to get into the immigration system to allow online.

Also considering '07 is a while ago it may be outside the system parameters for online without 'refreshing' your tm6 number in person at immigration . . .

Tm6 is your arrival/departure slip that you filled in on arrival., half went to immigration leaving you the other half to be submitted on your departure.
