Arrived from London via Eva Air and for the first time was not handed a TM6 Arrival/Departure card.

Nobody on the aircraft was, to the best of my knowledge.

Neither were we asked to produce one at Immigration.

Was that an anomaly?

Has the TM6 been scrapped?

I know the aircraft was nearly an hour late in taking off but managed to make up half-an-hour during flight so we arrived only 30 minutes behind schedule.

Would that be enough for Immigration to waive the requirement, in this instance (seems unlikely, to me)?

I have never had one except gor the first time I entered in August 2019. Travelled extensively in and out except during Covid. My last entry was in June this year. Never had one after Aug 2019 till now

Yes. Seems it was "suspended" in June 2022 for air arrivals but is still active in a few, select, land border crossings (for reasons unstated). Who knows what happens, next week? TiT.

yes, i guess suspended only for flights. My last labd border crossing was only in 2019 so I wouldn't know.

Thailand temporarily suspended filling of Thailand Arrival Card for travellers arriving via 16 land and sea checkpoints. This TM6 immigration form suspension is effective from 15 April to 15 October 2024.

Not correct, from spring this year just issued at a few landborders.
