Arrived from London via Eva Air and for the first time was not handed a TM6 Arrival/Departure card.
Nobody on the aircraft was, to the best of my knowledge.
Neither were we asked to produce one at Immigration.
Was that an anomaly?
Has the TM6 been scrapped?
I know the aircraft was nearly an hour late in taking off but managed to make up half-an-hour during flight so we arrived only 30 minutes behind schedule.
Would that be enough for Immigration to waive the requirement, in this instance (seems unlikely, to me)?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM6 Arrival/Departure card has indeed been scrapped for air arrivals since June 2022, as confirmed by several community members. This suspension appears to apply to air travel, while some land border checkpoints may still use the card temporarily. Other users shared their experiences of not filling out the TM6 during recent entries, indicating that the change has been in place for some time.
