TLDR : Answer Summary
When completing the TM6 section for 90-day online reporting, it is recommended to use both letters and numbers, following the format of two letters plus five numbers (e.g., HM04104). The online form indicates 'NUMERIC OR ENGLISH ONLY,' suggesting that including the letters is acceptable and advisable to avoid confusion, especially since characters can be easily mistaken.

Keep in mind that a TM6 arrival/departure card number nowadays is TWO letters followed by FIVE numbers. Sometimes those O's look like 0's and 1's look like I's :O

I always write the letters and numbers, never an issue

On the online form, it says:

"(NUMERIC OR ENGLISH ONLY)"

So I believe you'd use the MHM
