Are TM30s still required right now when they are not doing TM6? I tried using the online form but the system wouldn't save it without a TM6 number.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is still required in Thailand, even if TM6 is not currently being processed. Users can now file the TM30 online without needing a TM6 number, despite what was previously required. Suggestions include using the mobile Section 38 application or the official website, both of which do not mandate a TM6 entry to complete the filing process.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to come across SO coarse and harsh in my post but you definitely DO NOT need a TM6 number
and please do NOT just make one up to get thru the system đ like some wing-nut mentioned on another website) đ
good luck one and all (y)

Application for android & iPhone for filing TM30, called Section 38
Are you using the new TM30 online reporting? It doesn't ask for TM6 number

Youâre possibly confused with the new 90 day reporting system - it doesnât require a TM6. The TM30 system hasnât changed for years. It has a field for a TM6 but itâs not mandatory.
, TM30 (Section 38) system hasn't been changed for a long time. same URL for years.

Okay, ONE FINAL TIME, let's get this sorted out
you CAN use either the mobile Section 38 application OR the website ŕ¸ŕ¸Ą38 from the immigration home page and file a TM30 online WITHOUT needing a TM6 number. It is NOT mandatory,
i was able to go in add my data, sans TM6 number,
press the button that populates the excel sheet,
save the data,
exit the system,
go back in search for the data and recall it without ANY issue
thanks but my australian phone will not let me download the app, says not available in my country, i am in thailand now,do not what to change to much in the phone, will probably get thai advertising etc. Any way round this
