I am not sure if this is a “ thing” or not but I will mention it just in case. I just did my second 90 day report online after arriving back in Thailand on 31st December last year. I did my first report in person in March after multiple rejection of online submissions. Anyway 15 days before the due date of my second report I submitted on line last Sunday expecting to get a response on Monday morning. Monday morning came and went and no response. Tuesday morning came and went with no response and I had a bad feeling about the situation so I canceled my application and submitted a new one. Wednesday morning came and at 8-20am I received an approval email! Job done. I can’t prove that there is a problem if you submit on a weekend but I will make sure that I submit my next online report on a weekday just in case!

Has anyone needed an affadavit certifying a marriage certificate? (working on Kor Ror 22 as we were married outside of Thailand.)

I am being told I need to certify our marriage cert, but on the US Embassy site, it says that they don't do that. In this case I should do a signed affidavit, but what should I write on the document - that our document is legitimate? Or that I am married to ____.

Has anyone ever done 60 day extension based on family/marriage at Chiang Mai immigration? If so, can you remember what you needed and specifically if you needed the landlords ID copy from the lease agreement? Thank you

Hi, where is the nearest place to extend my 30 day exempt visa, for another 30 days? I am from uk. Is it correct I require the following

1. 2 x passport photos

2. 2 x copy of passport page

3. 1900 baht

4. Arrival stamp in passport, do I need copies of this?

Anything else.

Hello everyone!

I’ve read that I need a “certified” copy of my wife’s passport and a letter to apply for a non-O here in chicago. I’ve had several before (issued in Laos, Cambodia, etc.) which never required anything “certified” to be submitted with the application. Oddly the Consulate-General in chicago doesn’t request that the copy of our marriage certificate be “certified”. Anyone have any experience with this?

Secondary question: Has anyone been able to get an extension on a non-O marriage visa due to covid? Mine expired at the end of October.
