Hello there, I'm going back to the UK and wanted to get a 60 day visa from the Thai embassy. It's all changed now and I've just had to fill out a form online and submit loads of attachments to it.

I finished all this and it doesn't tell me what happens next??????

I tried to send multiple emails to the little live chat box type thing but they return as not delivered.

Does anybody know what the process is after the submission of this online visa application?

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process after submitting an online visa application for a 60-day visa to Thailand involves scheduling an appointment at the embassy, submitting required documents, and paying the applicable fees. Applicants should remember to bring the printed barcode from their online application to the appointment, as it is necessary for document retrieval. Typically, passports with the visa can be collected the following day. However, due to potential system changes, applicants may experience differences in procedures compared to previous guidelines.

This is Just what I expected, I certainly won't be applying for any visa for Thailand in the UK, if I decide to come back to Thailand it will be on a 30 day exempt stamp. Sad really as I have a house, car moto bike etc, up for sale now. Time to move on I'm afraid.

Don't forget to take the printed bar code with you or you'll be going back again. Without it, they cannot access your application.

To be honest, it's all a bit strange how they are working it and totally different to how the video tutorial shows it works.

I think they maybe running in Beta mode until they are sure it's a fully functional system.

It seems at this time, nobody is even looking at your application until you actually go or send them your documents.

apparently they just go to the Embassy on the day of the appointment. Turn in the documents and the Embassy tell you when to go back to collect your passport.
