What is government healthcare? I’m living in Rawai, Phuket. I’ve only been to Bangkok hospital for my girlfriend one time. It was a little more expensive than I was expecting in Thailand. Are there less expensive options? Maybe I’ll look into insurance options

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry focuses on exploring government healthcare options in Thailand, particularly in Rawai, Phuket, as an alternative to the more expensive private hospitals like Bangkok Hospital. Comments suggest that government-owned hospitals are typically cheaper, and recommend them for Thai citizens, as well as mentioning military hospitals as an option.

I believe there are hospitals which are government owned that are cheaper then private hospitals which I believe Bangkok Hospital is private. If she is a Thai citizen take her to a government hospital instead.
