I could use some help! I've applied for the work-from-Thailand visa, and most of my documents have been accepted—except for my master's degree. I initially sent the confirmation letter from my university's registry, but they requested the original certificate. I sent it as a JPEG, but they asked again, so I sent it in PDF format. Now they're requesting it again, and I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do next.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Update: they replied “ Dear Patrick BlackRock,

You are advised to contact the Printing Shops instead of scanning such documents yourself or using mobile phone.” But I don’t have the original, only files on my phone.

Hey Thailand expats and digital nomads! 👋 I need some advice on the Thai Digital Talent Visa (also called Digital Nomad Visa or LTR Visa for Highly-Skilled Professionals).

I'm a 37-year-old American currently in Hat Yai, working remotely with over $100k in savings. I'm hoping to stay long-term in Thailand and this visa seems perfect. But I've got some questions:

1. Do I have to leave Thailand to apply for this visa? Or can I do it from within the country?

2. I know the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur handles these visas, but does anyone know if the Thai Consulate in Penang can process them too? Penang would be way more convenient for me.

3. Has anyone applied for this visa recently? What was your experience like?

4. Any tips on proving my digital skills or remote work status?

Has anyone already gotten a new LTR visa?

It looks like I'm qualified in the category Work-from-Thailand Professionals (LTR-T) but I have not been able to get answers to my questions from official representatives for 2 weeks now. I sent them a letter to the official email, also tried to send a message through the form on their website. Tried to call the phone numbers listed on their website, tried to call specific officers on direct numbers that their Line chat bot provides. There has been no answer to the email for almost two weeks now. On the phone the machine asks to call back later no matter what day or time I call.

It's a very frustrating experience. Have you had the same thing?

I'm thinking of visiting their office next week at the address stated on their website - Chamchuri Square Building. What do you think, is it a good idea?

I just have a lot of questions that I can't find answers to in open sources. I don't even know who I can address my questions other than the official representatives 🤷‍♂️
