Good morning friends. I am wanting to work in Thailand. I am Master of Science qualified. I have applied for many positions, without much traction. 99% of application processes ask what visa am I on, which is a tourist visa at present. Can I get advice please on how to obtain a work visa / permit? Or does a company have to provide a letter of offer as pre-requisite? Thank you. PM me if preferred.

Key points raised in the comments highlight the necessity of securing a job offer first, as employers typically assist with the visa and work permit application process. LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Just having a master's is no qualification, unless you want to teach. Thailand is not a training ground for foreign workers. They hire experience, with lots of competition applying for what few jobs there are. What do you have to offer no one else has?
You find a job first. If you say 99% are not getting traction focus your efforts on the 1%. Remember Thailand is not a job-seekers paradise. Which field are you looking at? Your experience will count more than a degree (although for many positions that will be a requirement). Target foreign companies, as Thai companies will generally look for fluent Thai-speakers
