Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹

Has anyone already gotten a new LTR visa?

It looks like I'm qualified in the category Work-from-Thailand Professionals (LTR-T) but I have not been able to get answers to my questions from official representatives for 2 weeks now. I sent them a letter to the official email, also tried to send a message through the form on their website. Tried to call the phone numbers listed on their website, tried to call specific officers on direct numbers that their Line chat bot provides. There has been no answer to the email for almost two weeks now. On the phone the machine asks to call back later no matter what day or time I call.

It's a very frustrating experience. Have you had the same thing?

I'm thinking of visiting their office next week at the address stated on their website - Chamchuri Square Building. What do you think, is it a good idea?

I just have a lot of questions that I can't find answers to in open sources. I don't even know who I can address my questions other than the official representatives ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Did you succeed in contacting LTR? Does visiting in person help? Thank you.

I had no luck to contact them by phone neither via email and website contact form. I found this zoom call application in their Line chat bot. It worked for me:

Thank you. And how did you arrange for this? They eventually answered by email? Or you managed to call somebody there eventually? I also only got voice mails/no answers, just as you described above, which is why I am asking.

I got denied under the work from Thailand scheme. One of their unwritten requirements is 100% of your work has to be done in Thailand. If you travel for business meetings from time to time, keep that to yourself.

your initial application has been approved? Log into your account and Look under the 'check status' tab. There is really nobody but the staff at BOI to answer your questions. However, you can also apply to Thai Visa Centre to help you facilitate all the documents

I think they are just swamped with applications right now. I submitted my application a few days after it opened and didn't get my approval until exactly 20 days which is what they say is the maximum processing time. I then had a follow-up question and emailed them and it's been over a week with no response.

It's a pretty small department with just a handful of employees and normally only processing 20-50 smart visa applications in a month.
