Basic question. Will do my first 90 check in on my new 1 year Non-O visa. Do I go check in between 85-90 days or what?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first 90-day check-in on a 1-year Multiple Entry Non-Immigrant O visa, you should report in-person to the immigration office anytime between 15 days before and 7 days after the due date. Alternatively, you can check in online 15 days before or on the due date. If you prefer using mail, ensure it is sent at least 15 days before the due date, but check if your local immigration office accepts this method.

The 90days reporting windows are,

In-person at the immigration office: 15days before to 7days after the due date

Online: 15days before to on the due date

By legacy mail (EMS through the post office), only for IOs that accept reports by EMS: stamped on at least 15days before the due date

Has the online option changed? I thought it was between 15 and 7 days before due date.

If you have a new 1 year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa, that means you are only allowed to stay 90 days inside the country, than leave and come back before the valid until date to get a new 90 days stay.
