Hi! We’re planning to stay 90 days in Thailand. We will have 60 days on arrival, can we ask for the 30day extension right away after arrival or we need to wait a certain number of days to go to the immigration office?

Good evening.

I want to apply for a COVID visa extension and declare 90 day stay. Problem is the main immigration office for Bangkok has Google reviews stating the office has moved to a temporary location. Could someone who has been to get a visa extension in the last 2 weeks please tell me where I need to go?

Thank you so much

Considering getting the METV if I return in January. It seems like I had 90 consecutive days in country last time or am I mistaken? Recent threads here say 60.

Previously the process was not online. Directions on the current application state that I might have to prove why I need to visit Thailand again inside of the 6 month duration - that I might only be granted the SETV and lose the difference in cost. Anyone have experience here?

And finally what’s the status of visas on arrival?(US citizen here) I’m seeing conflicting accounts on length of stay.

Thanks

Currently on a 1 year non-b with multiple entry, if I go on visa run to Ranong and still have 3 or 4 weeks left on my current visa, they will still give me 90 days right?

-Dutch passport

-First SETV which is stamped till dec 6 (ie without the 30 day extension)

-Previous visits all short yearly holidays on visa exemptions, last one a year ago

To obtain our SETV we booked a ticket to Luang Prabang after 58 days as proof of onward travel. We would like to stay up to 90 days and then move on, but we were not sure whether booking it around 90 days would be OK.

If we cannot reschedule the ticket and actually want to use it, is it likely that we can come back in on a visa exemption for the final 3-4 weeks? As this is our first SETV I think it should be no problem but I just want to check. We have no intention staying longer than 90 days and will probably only come back at the end of our trip (in June).

Thanks!

I thought.... (famous last words) that if I did a bounce a few days before my one year non-Imm b multi expired (on the 19th of Nov) I would ‘stretch’ another 90 days out of it.. I’ve had to bounce today as the stamp says but the immigration officer had a good ‘doodle’ on it and appears to have scuppered my futile optimism, thoughts?
