I know that on a uk passport I get 60 days, how do I go about getting an extra 30 days. This is for a trip next year. Thanks

I have a question and could use some advice:

I am coming to Thailand for 3 months or so.......within the first 2 months I am going to fly to the Philippines for 2 weeks and then return to Thailand for the rest of my stay.

Q: Do I need to get an extension prior to leaving for the Philippines? or do I need a certain VISA? or will I just reset my 60 days upon arriving back?

I think i know the answer, but would like to hear opinions.

Funny I went to a travel agent to book a holiday to Thailand and she said 30days on arrival no visa required I said they have changed it to 60 days on arrival I'm from Australia 🇦🇺 she didn't believe me who is right me or the travel agent ?

Does 60 days visit visa start on the day of approval or at the entry to Thailand Airport? I am thinking of getting Thai visa, but I need to go to Singapore first before going to Thailand but not sure if I will lose stay even before entering Thailand in doing so. Thanks 🙂

Interesting. Just applied successfully for a 30 days extension of my 60 days visa based on tourism in Bangkok, which was running out on December 18th. Instead of until January 17th they extended my permitt to stay untill January 30th. Must have something tondo with the visa "amnesty" untill December 31st?

For the visa, it is required to put a flight number. I am not sure yet which flight I want to take because I don't know how long the system will take to manage my file.

Can the flight number I put on the 60 days visa application be different than the one I will actually take and different of the one for the Thai Pass ?

I'm on a 90 day tourist visa. My 60days are up on Sunday and I need to go to Samui to extend for the 30 extra days. Because it falls on a Sunday am I required to go tomorrow or is Monday OK?
