TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the changes in visa exemption stamps for entering Thailand, particularly whether travelers are now receiving a 60-day stamp instead of the previous 30-day stamp. Many users confirm that travelers eligible for visa exemption from specific countries have been receiving the 60-day stamp since July 15, 2024, especially if they entered after 4 PM. There are questions about the need for validating experiences through pictures of stamps, with concerns about privacy and accuracy of information.

It’s 60 days, why do you need a picture?

These are the countries eligible for the 60 day visa exemption. If your country is not listed, you don’t get the 60 day stamp. If you are listed and got a 60 day stamp, then it was in error and should be corrected immediately while at the airport.

Why wouldn't you trust people if they say they received 60 days?

With so many people making claims based on old. incorrect info (i.e. I've seen you make statements before that you had to correct afterwards)

There seems to be a lot of profiles on many tourist and expat pages and groups asking for pictures of visa exemption stamps, I am not sure if there is anything sinister happening, but I would be interested in knowing why anyone would need a picture of the visa.

Nothing like that, I need to be sure on which visa to come before making some mistakes that will get me and my family in trouble.

I see a lot of passport numbers are visible in the pictures, 🤔

Anyone eligible for a visa exempt entry has gotten a 60 day stamp if they entered after 3 or 4pm on 15th July. Land, sea or air entries alike.

Depends what country you're from

@Ash *****
nah it doesn’t depend on country. You either get 60 or don’t get at all. There’re no countries with 30 days stamp and countries with 60 days stamps

no, it’s not. It’s 60 days as everyone else. There’s no more 30 days visa exemption
Michael *******
@Thaimer *****
don’t need to - my buddy arrived two weeks ago and got 30 days, he leaves for vietnam on Sat and back a week later maybe you need to send this to Phuket immig 🤔😊
Thaimer ******
@Michael ******
from 15th July evrry visa exemption country gets 60 days. It’s not selective
Michael *******
Not in Phuket it wasn’t I saw his passport maybe he should file a complaint 🤔
Elías ********
@Thaimer *****
it totally depends... 🫣 My country can get only 15 days without a regular tourism visa.
Thaimer ******
@Elías *******
so your country isn’t under visa exemption. As said you either have 60 days exemption or you don’t have it. Your country don’t have it
