Will my husband's visa extension be affected if mine is renewed a week earlier?

After some advice please. I have non O retirement visa with my husband following on a dependency visa. Made an appointment today to renew extensions (due next month) today at our local Immigration office. I was told that because they were very busy my appointment has been made 1 week before my husbands appointment. I was assured this would cause no problems regarding my husbands extension. Is this correct? In the 20 odd years of having these visas we have always renewed our extensions at the same time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a NON-O retirement visa and is concerned about renewing it simultaneously with her husband's dependency visa. She has appointments at their local immigration office, but hers is scheduled one week before her husband's. Despite assurances from the office that this will not cause any issues, she seeks confirmation of whether separate appointment dates might affect her husband's visa renewal process.

you don't say the office you're using (and there are more than 80 ๐Ÿ˜•) but if that's what they told you, I would follow what they say.

I'd still have all the documentation ready to go for the trailing spouse extension for your husband just in case there are some wires crossed and they WILL do them both together when your appt is scheduled

didn't book online. Booked at the Immigration Office when doing my 90 day checkin.

it's that office is all.

Good luck with it, (y)

You can't book online for the immigration office a Koh Phangan, just Surat Thani or Samui

renegade? Have always dealt with Samui Immigration before for extensions, so a little concerned as Koh Phangan Immigration is relatively new & I'm not sure how many retirement/dependency extensions they've dealt with.

personally

I would just go on over to Samui to do it. BUT sincerely good luck with it (y)
