I entered into Thailand with a single entry 3 month non-b visa and a valid one year work permit. My non-b expires on Feb 22 but due to some paperwork mix-up, I cannot get my one year extension until March. (I need to wait for my PND for the month of February).
I'm considering flying to Singapore to apply for a new non-b visa to re-enter Thailand. Would that affect my current work permit?
Also, my husband needs to get his spouse visa. From my understanding, to do it in-country, I must first have my one year extension of my non-b visa. If he goes with me to Singapore, could he apply for his non-o directly there?
I hold an HK passport and my husband is American. Please advise on what my options are. Thank you so much.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user entered Thailand on a single-entry 3-month Non-B visa with a valid one-year work permit, expiring on February 22. Due to paperwork delays, they need to travel to Singapore to reapply for a new Non-B visa while waiting for the extension, which could impact their current work permit. Additionally, the user's husband needs a spouse visa, which requires the user to first secure their one-year extension. They inquire whether the husband can apply for his Non-O visa directly in Singapore during their trip.
