With my wife we came to Thailand in December last year. We’ve got tourist visa exempt stamps and then Covid extensions.
I understand I can apply here in country for 90 days NON-O retirement visa and then extend it for one year.
The question is: can my wife, who is less than 50, apply for NON-O visa as a trailer to me at the same time?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether their wife can simultaneously apply for a NON-O visa as a dependent while they apply for their own NON-O retirement visa in Thailand. Responses indicate that, generally, the wife cannot apply for the NON-O visa inside Thailand alongside the husband. It is suggested that she must first wait until the husband obtains a 12-month extension on his NON-O visa and then apply for her NON-O visa at a nearby embassy.
