Myself and our daughter are on Non im O as dependants.
We entered Thailand on 27/1/18
My husbands WP is taking forever... im worried about time running out.
Once his WP is done he can apply for the extension. But we can only apply for the extension once he has his, right?
So besides various trips to immigration do we actually have enough time left? Coz I think the soonest hell get his WP will be at the end of March and the Visa is valid till 26/4.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's husband is on a Non-Immigrant B Visa with a single entry and 90 days duration, while she and their daughter are on Non-Immigrant O Visas as dependants. They entered Thailand on January 27, 2018, and are concerned about timing as the husband's work permit (WP) application is delayed, which is critical for their visa extension process. Comments suggest checking with local authorities for WP status and that extensions can likely be applied for the same day if the WP is approved.

Also - upon submitting my B Visa Extension application - they said all was in order but it had to go to Bkk for final approval. I got a 30 day wait stamp. Then was fully approved at the 30 day mark. This will not likely have an effect on dependant stamp - likely will get the same 30 day wait.
It all depends on the Employer, application for WP does not take for ever or months, normally a matter of a weeks. You are correct about the Extensions but this is done on the spot, when all papers are correct it will be stamped in directly so you and your daughter can apply at the same day.
