Will I have issues at immigration without an exit stamp after using e-gates in Thailand?

Hello.

Used the e-gates for the first time when leaving Suvarnabhumi last week. Now I don't have an exit stamp (30 day visa). I expect it will be okay when I come back in November but has anybody else been in the same position and experienced difficulties at immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The use of automated e-gates when leaving Thailand means that obtaining an exit stamp is no longer necessary. While most people report that not having an exit stamp does not pose a problem, some individuals have experienced brief questioning by immigration officers upon re-entry. However, it generally seems that immigration officials are aware of the automated system and handle these situations accordingly.

I got queried why I had no exit stamp when i returned last time.

I explained I used auto gates when I left and he went and asked his boss then let me in.

There is no need for exit stamps these days. It won’t be an issue.
