Good Morning . I have a question? This Sunday I landed at Suvarnabhumi. I have a non “O biased on marriage. I also had a reentry permit. When I went through immigration they did not stamp my passport or the arrival card on entry into Thailand . Is this going to be normal now ? After I went through immigration and I seen no entry stamp I went back and the officer said it was ok .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the absence of an entry stamp in their passport upon arrival in Thailand with a Non-O visa based on marriage and a re-entry permit. Comments from the community highlighted mixed opinions on the matter, with one suggesting it's important to check for the stamp before leaving the counter, while another asserted that an entry stamp should typically be present.

At least now you'll always check for your stamp BEFORE you walk away from the counter stamping in ;)

Glad it worked out. (y)
Robert *******
does not sound correct, There must be a stamp inside your passport with date of entry and Admitted until date.

Robert *******
Than you not even have a VISA but an Extension of Stay a big stamp you got from Immigration. using the correct terminology helps a lot if you want information. Here the difference between a visa and an Extension of Stay. BTW you never ever renew this, you apply every year for a NEW Extension of Stay:

Robert *******
Without an entry stamp, you simply entered Thailand illegal.
Robert *******
Try to explain than? You keep on telling you don't have an entry stamp. Well, you need an entry stamp and if it is not in your passport visit your local Immigration Office as soon as possible to correct this.
Francis ********
ORIGINAL POSTER
Ok Robert sir .I respect your advice but I don’t think you understand Sir
Robert *******
Nice for you but having a Non O has nothing to do with getting an entry stamp when you enter Thailand. Check your passport page by page, the officer is wrong there must be a stamp in your passport.
Francis ********

Okay, so you have the entry stamp in your passport but not on your TM 6 Departure card. Not having the stamp on the TM 6 Departure card is no problem.

What is inside my passport does not going to help you. Check your passport, there must be an entry stamp.
