TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about re-entering Thailand after a brief trip to Cambodia, having initially entered with a 30-day stamp and secured an extension. The community suggests that re-entry shouldn't pose any issues as long as the user can provide proof of onward travel and has no extensive history of overstaying in Thailand. It is also noted that while Thai immigration typically doesnโt ask for such proof, airlines may require it for boarding.

No problem

Lisa Paul . . . the airline you intend to fly to Thailand one-way out of Cambodia, CAN ask you for an onward travel proof out of Thailand within the 30 days you will get stamped in. In this case you better show them a REAL one-way ticker with a budget airline, like Air Asia from Hat Yai to Kualy Lumpur. Maybe the cheap "onwardticket" is sufficinet, but we never guarantee this. You should know, Thai Immigration normally will not ask you for this proof and proofs of accomodation and 20,000 THB in cash (or equivalent in another currecny) - but the Airline in most cases will ask for onward travel proof, and if you can't prove it they can refuse you boarding the flight

Not if you can provide evidence of funds and maybe proof of acomadation don't worry enjoy your holiday
yes but if you don't show a visa you get 30 day stamp .
If you have a record of over stay then questions my be asked, and like I said earlier if you have onward ticket, shouldn't be any problem ,unless you know one ??
I came with a onward ticket as my visa didn't come in time wasn't asked for visa or onward ticket that was with emirates, maybe lucky or airline isn't so strict now.i had a onward ticket ๐ค

Not unless you have a history of staying in Thailand for extended periods as a "tourist"

Not if thatโs your only history of entries. If you have an extensive previous history then you may well have.
