Tod Daniels, when getting a stamp coming into the country, if they write the exit date instead of stamping it, does that have any special meaning for next time you re-enter? Thx, a friend just had this and is wondering.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand, if an immigration officer writes the exit date instead of providing a traditional stamp, it typically has no special meaning for future entries. Responses from the community suggest that such practices vary, with no adverse effects on subsequent re-entries.
