I have a medical visa that ends on 14th of February. I have one surgery book on 8th of March, what is the best thing to do try to get other medical visa (this one wasnt easy to get) or ask for covid extension visa. I just need a few days on March to recover and then I need to back to my country.
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user with a medical visa expiring on February 14 is seeking advice on whether to apply for a new medical visa or request a COVID extension. Advice received suggests opting for the COVID extension for convenience, while also noting the importance of consulting with the doctor or hospital for support in this process.
you are absolutely right the immigration officer just need to follow the rules. Just to explain you i have a cyst in my upper jaw but i had to do many exams byopsis etc etc until be ready for the surgery if i back before the surgery the doctors will make everything again i want to avoid that even with the covid in europe i m not sure if i can get a fast treatment
i did last time even with papers of the doctor saying i need 6 months wasnt easy some immigration doctor needs to see me even fully qualified for the visa he wasnt happy giving me the visa
The extension of stay based on medical purposes is sold up to 90 day increments. Just because an immigration officer isn't happy issuing it doesn't mean anything. You're out of nothing applying again.
What immigration office is this, if you don't mind me asking?
