Im about to apply for a non O E visa at the thai consulate in Sydney.
I want to use my Australian savings account for proof of funds but the latest statement is dated 3 July.
I need to show 3 months of bank statements as far as I know.
I can get a Statement of Account showing the balance tomorrow but it won't show the previous 3 months of transactions from 4 July.
Will this be sufficient

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks clarity on using a July bank statement as proof of funds for a Non-O visa application at the Thai consulate in Sydney, as it doesn't cover the required three months' transactions. Responses suggest that while a monthly balance statement is useful, it's generally recommended to provide three months of statements to meet visa requirements. Some users shared their experiences successfully using balance statements in their applications, while others advised reaching out to banks for the necessary documentation.

Hi Tony
We recently applied for the Non OA from Australia and provided a proof of balance statement. This was accepted and our Visa was issued. It took around 4 weeks for processing.

Just ask your bank for monthly statements Thay should be able to provide them

I would say it will not work, you need to show statements/balance for the last 3 months just like they specify on the eVisa application.
This is posted on the eVisa main page website under Family Visa
I mean if that's all you have it's all you have, apply with it and if they need more documentation they'll email you a request for additional documentation.
You can post on the Aussie in Thailand f/b page and ask there, those people are dialed in to how both Sydney and Canberra consulates are
