What are the best options for applying for a Thai visa if I can only provide a single bank statement showing the required amount?

1 of my main concerns is that I have a few different accounts that I keep my money in and I would have to transfer the amount of 500K equivalent into 1 bank account, therefore I would not be able to give 3 or 6 months statements showing 500K but I would be able to show the full amount on the day of applying.Any recommendations on where I could apply and this would not be a problem? Is there anyone else that was in a similar situation?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the requirement to show 3 to 6 months of bank statements with a balance of 500,000 THB for their visa application but only has accounts where the funds are not consolidated in one account. They seek recommendations for embassies that may allow modifications to this requirement. Several comments suggest specific embassies that accept a one-month statement for the 500,000 THB balance, such as London, Jakarta, and Taipei. There are concerns about tightening regulations as some embassies are reportedly asking for longer-term statements, and discussions arise about using a spouse's bank statements.

Would it be fine to show my wife’s bank statements as she would be my dependent and she already has well over 500K BHT in her account. That way I wouldn’t have to transfer money around from my other accounts to 1 account.

UPDATE. The embassies are now starting tro want to see money in bank for 3 months, it started randomly, but niow more and more reports that they are being told to toghten up. (This is the beginning, and as such the authorities are looking at how its all running before brining in tighter restrictions.)

Where did you get this information?

I got DTV at Madrid’s Embassy, and I did not send my bank account movements, but only a certificate from the bank with my current balance. Embassy accepted that.

seems like only the South East Asian consulates who do it 'in person' are looking for history, and in most cases, those folks seem to be applying on the 'soft power' basis. Australia has no requirement for balance history and from observation, neither does UK.

That's also my main concern 😔

@Batuh ***
There are embassies like Jakarta, Taipei, where one month statement is fine with the 500k put in at anytime.

it may be even more friendly if it goes online and we can just go and chill on Bali while they prepare the visa :)

Though this may just be a pipe dream!

As other posts at London the money doesn’t have to be in any amount of time.

Best of luck

Did you apply with only the documents mentioned on the website or was anything extra required?

London accepts one month of a single bank statement.
