TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses an individual's experience with applying for a Non-O visa in Thailand, specifically regarding financial proof. They have submitted their bank statements and proof of salary but are still being asked to show a balance of 400,000 THB. Comments from others clarify that the requirements for the initial visa application typically demand a bank balance instead of relying solely on income proof, as monthly income is generally only considered for yearly extensions.

No 500k not coming the rules are quite straightforward, I'm sure you can get 500k or if you say 400k THB ..if you really want it!

Just means submit your bank statements for the last 3 months and the final balance must be no less than 400k baht equivalent. So for Australia it would be

If you apply from your home country..then they not ask 400k..400k only after you want 1 year extension..when you apply for non o 90 days they only ask your one week old bank statement with minimum balance 40k bht only..

Monthly income is only for the yearly extension. An initial Non-O you need money in the bank, unless you're embassy provides income affidavits, which most don't anymore.

You need a seasoned bank acct of 90 days (3 months) with ฿400k baht or equivalent currency amount

Pretty cut and dry

Some agents will and can get you a seasoned acct with the correct money amount for an eye popping nominal amount
