Do I need to show a 3-month bank balance for my Thai visa application, or can I provide a recent deposit statement?

Hi,

For the bank statement requirement, may I just deposit the required amount and produce an official statement with this amount recently deposited? Or the required amount has to show in the balance for 3 months?

Would it be better to just produce a letter stating that i have at least x amount in my account?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for bank statements in a Thai visa application can vary based on the embassy you are applying to. Generally, it is necessary to provide a bank statement that shows the required amount. The bank statement might need to reflect the balance over a 3-month period, but some embassies may accept more recent deposits as proof. It's advisable to check the specific requirements of the embassy to ensure compliance.
