Good afternoon. I came to Laos to get a 90 non-o visa because Nong Khai imm. doesn't do them. I fill out the paperwork with my 900k baht bank certificate from Krungthhai as proof of funds. They write back that they want 3 months of bank statements, which I can't obtain nor have I had the money in there 3 months. If this goes further south, do all Asian embassies need the 3 month proof of funds or is there somewhere I can go with my bank certificate being enough? TIA for any thoughts.

Just because they want 3 months of bank statements doesn't necessarily mean they want 3 months of the required funds. But multiple months of bank statements is a common requirement at most embassies.

I believe you're right. I was reading the email wrong. It says a Thai account with a "current" balance of 800k, which I was able to get to them about 1645 today. I believe they just wanted to make sure it was me who put it there. I submitted it and paid 2k baht about 1030 this morning and if I had done it right in the first place, I would probably have an approval already.
