Will a Delay in TM30 Submission Affect My Immigration Status?

Hi All,

I have a query regarding TM30. I would checkout from my hotel this Friday and will move to my condo on same day. However my contract at Condo will be from 1st December, Monday (My land lady has allowed a two day free stay). So TM30 I need to do on Tuesday now. Will that create any issue at immegration now or at anytime in future?

Just keep in mind the TM30 is a notification of stay, not a notification of starting a lease. Whether you are paying rent or not, you're staying there

Tod Daniels :O I did not know that at all! I was told differently by someone at immigration, but I'm guessing you're right.

keep in mind you CAN use a new lease to lead the immigration office to believe you just moved in. So if the lease is dated effective the 1st, and you go within 48 hours of that date you're fine.

The law: A foreigner has to be reported within 24 hours after arrival.

Who your landlord is, where she/he lives, works, if you pay rent to him/her or owner or agency, if you are friends relatives, what kind of visa you have or what ever issue you can think of. The rule stays the rule and there is only ONE thing: Within 24 hours after arrival.

As far as i read out of other comments the app is asking you to upload files which are named like id , passport, ownership or tabien baan.

Thanks a ton Robert! Just one more query after downloading the app I tried to register. There it is asking me to upload some files. Could you please suggest me what all docs I require to upload and after successful registration if I need to upload more docs?

I would ask at immigration. then file at that moment.
