TM 30.

I live in Kanchanaburi province. 40 kms to the immigration office.

Just got back from Saigon tonight. 25th.

Will stay at daughters condo in Bkk. 25th.

Go to our house tomorrow. 26th.

Don't want to report tomorrow. 26th.

Any problems with reporting next day 27th Thursday .

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the TM 30 reporting requirements after returning to Thailand and staying at a new address. They want to know if reporting their TM 30 a day late, on the 27th, instead of the 26th is acceptable. The consensus from comments confirms that as long as the reporting is done within 24 hours of arriving at the primary address, it should be fine.

And time to close another Address reporting question.

Check with your local Immigration Office.

Nothing is cancelled, sorry i read the same dream world messages but passports, visa and an address to sleep overnight are still needed in Thailand. Living under the bridge is not allowed for foreigners.

The Rule is you need to be reported TM30 within 24 hours after you arrive that address. NOT within 24 hours after you enter Thailand.

Should be fine filling in when you get home just explain the time taken travelling. They dint know you stayed overnight in BKK as not hotel has lodged a TM30 in you. As far as they know you’re in transit from airport to home in that time.

You have 24 hours from getting to your primary address to file a TM30. I highly doubt you're gonna have any issues getting HOME on the 26th and filing on the 27th.

BUT why not have either your wife or daughter CALL them and ask

03-456-4279 That way you'll get the answer right from the source.

Thank you James Miller.

I'm not a member of this forum to have issues with fellow members.

All I am looking for is good solid information to save me time, energy and hassle.

I have just returned and don't need extra hassle of traveling if not needed.

I have also given quite a bit of input into answering questions on this forum myself .

Angry man no more.

Thank you...And do you still have a question about the TM 30 filing ?

As its nighttime in Thailand likely you will receive added replies in the morning from Admin and Mod team members as well as forum members.

Commenting is ON Peter Pritchard..

"I have tried to get information tonight on a TM 30 issue and after 3 comments you have turned the post off and ended comments when I needed more information from a member.

Why not let it run longer than 20 minutes.

Angry man"

You should be OK.

Always best to ask your local immigration office.
