TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to properly report a change of address for their visa after moving houses in Thailand. They are worried about the implications for their visa and whether they need to notify immigration immediately or can wait until their next reporting date. Comments suggest that they need to file a TM30 within 24 hours, bring necessary documents like the house book and passport, and some advise not to worry excessively about the timing as there might only be a small fine for late filing if necessary.

I'm going to go 2 weeks before report date for peace of mind.

I'm an anxious person , but that's what they said .

For the TM30, you have to file it no later then 24 business hours after you arrive at a location (in some immigration offices), and once it's submitted, you don't need to refile unless you stay the night at another place.

You'll be fine. Don't overthink it. It won't affect your visa/ extension of stay if you file late, but you will be fined a small amount of money (I think 800THB where you live). So don't sweat it at all

thank you Benjamin.

I've just asked the lady owner and she wont give us house book or let us make a copy.

I don't know what to do know.

Looks like I've lost my rent and will have to look elsewhere.

I'd try to self file the TM30; they may accept it. Tod Daniels made a post about it at

All else fails we can find somewhere else.

I'll keep immigration notified so I'm not being dishonest.

Thanks Benjamin

He said not to worry and change when I do next report.

I hope this is ok .

He said to bring passport didnt mention house book ?

Should I call again or have you heard this before.

If it has its own address, the foreigners has to be reported within 24 hours.

That's a TM30 question. I recommend going to your local immigration office and ask them what their policy is
