TLDR : Answer Summary
The Chonburi immigration office has extended the deadlines for un/con applications until November 3rd. This decision has caused some frustration among applicants, who are confused by the extension despite the presence of an amnesty program. Comments suggest that the delay is due to an overwhelmed processing system, which has resulted in longer wait times for visa applications.

And that means that you show back up on the 3rd then :)

Their processing system is overwhelmed with the sheer number of people applying. What would normally take 15 days has just left them swamped. So in order to allow more time to process they give you another day to come back and hopefully it will have been processed by then.

i dont get it why you guys extend if there is an amnesty...
ok well I'm leaving this week for work so yea good thanks for the info. I spent money to make a visa 3 months ago with an agent valid until October 6. My question is when I leave on the 11 October am I paying overstay or not? I called immigration and they told me no but seems everyone got their own version.
