Came to Thailand on the 45 day visa excemption and I want to extend for another 30 days.
When can I do this? 5 days before my visa runs out or has it really be on the last day of my 45 day "visa"?
Right now, Im in Pattaya. As I understand it, I have to fill out form "TM7.pdf" and bring it to "Chonburi Immigration Pattaya"?
Whats the best time of the day to do it? Early morning or afternoon?
Any other tips are welcome.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are looking to extend your 45-day visa exemption in Thailand, you can generally apply for an extension within the last 30 days of your current visa, but the Pattaya immigration office may specifically require you to do this within the last 7 days. It is advisable to go early in the morning to avoid long queues. Make sure to bring your passport, copies of the photo page and entry stamp, a passport-sized photo, and 1,900 baht for the fee. Additionally, check if you need proof of a TM30 filing as it may be necessary at that office.
Generally within 30 days of your current entry stamp date but Jomtien will probably require within 7 days of expiry. You get the TM7 at the Immigration Office (their own version of it).
you can download TM7 via the internet..but there is a small supplementary page you have to usually get at IO . Went through this today in Chiang Rai, a good office as long as you have papers in order..
Especially helpful is a copy of the TM30 which your residence is supposed to submit ..but critical is a scanned copy of your passport ID page and the page where your entry was posted..two passport photos, and needless to say your actual passport. ..and 1900 baht. (have some more info for those whose multi entry Visa didn't get processed prior to arrival , but subsequently did..as well..but that is another can of worms, and not the question at hand.)
