TLDR : Answer Summary
Due to travel restrictions caused by COVID-19, there is an option for individuals stranded in Thailand to apply for an extension of stay. This requires a letter from your embassy or consulate for a 30-day extension, which can be obtained at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. If your consulate does not provide this letter, you may need to seek assistance from a Thai consulate in another country or consider returning to your home country.

IF your consulate issues a letter asking for a 30 day unable to travel extension you can get that from the immigration office for 1900baht.
IF they don't you go to a thai consulate in another country (that isn't closed yet) and buy a new tourist visa to thailand if you can.
IF you can't do that you go back to your country..
post. There is an extension of stay based on not being able to travel due to the COVID-19 virus, which requires a letter from your embassy or consulate.
