For the 60-day Covid extension, must a letter be from your embassy of your passport nation, or the nation of your residence? Or perhaps a no-travel letter isn't necessary anymore? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the 60-day Covid extension in Thailand, you should obtain a letter from the embassy of the passport you used to enter the country. If your embassy does not provide such a letter, you can indicate that no embassy letter is available when submitting your application.

It would be the nation of the passport you entered on. For example, if you have an American passport, and a Canadian passport, and you entered Thailand on your Canadian passport, you'd contact the Canadian embassy for the letter.

If your Embassy still provides the letter ..get it. If not when you apply for the COVID extension.. just say /check mark the no embassy letter available.

Which embassy? The one of my residence, or the one of my nationality? Thank you.
