TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport, head to International Departure #2 after going through security. The permit desk is open 24/7 and the fees are 1200 baht for a single re-entry and 4000 baht for a multiple re-entry. No forms, copies, or photos are required. After your immigration stamp, you pay the fee and receive the permit, which is a quick process—typically taking around 10 minutes.

I went through last Monday. Took 10 minutes at the most. So easy.

You go to the reentry permit desk after the immigration officer stamps you out, pay the fee, get the permit. Open 24hrs, ask an officer if there is no staff visible at the desk.

You go thru security, you follow the signage to International Departure #2, and you buy a re-entry permit.

The counter is open

the cost is 1200baht for a single re-entry, 4000baht for a multiple re-entry, you do not need a form, any copies or a photo.

and ...if you miss the signage and end up airside, you can walk round and enter from airside side (not that I ever had to do that! 🙄)

so the price went up (from

) or is this the price you pay at the airport?

@Michel ****
it's the price you pay at the airport so you don't have to have made your own copies, fill out the TM8 form or have a 4X6cm photo. 🙂
