Quick question about getting a re entry permit at Suvarnabhumi airport. My flight is on Sunday at 11:40 and I'll need to get a re entry permit. Where exactly is the booth and is there anything I need to be aware of? What do I need to take with me? Thanks in advance đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport, head to the booth located by the Immigration counters downstairs. Use the entrance on the left, which is clearly marked for re-entry permits. Before you reach Passport Control, you'll need to go through Security first. Ensure you bring cash for the fee; it's 1000 THB if you have your own passport-size photo and can fill out the form, or 1200 THB if you need assistance with the form and photo taken by them. It's advisable to have both a digital and printed version of your travel documents ready and expect some queues, so plan accordingly.

If you have passport size picture and you can fill the form, re entry fee is 1000 bht. If you don't want to fill the form and don't have picture, then they will fill form for you on computer and take your picture with their own camera. In that case, fee is 1200 bht

I was going to ask the SAME question (but for a flight at 2pm this Thursday) so I'm glad I did a research on the group first haha

Thank you for asking and answering my question :)

Make sure you use the entrance on the left, which clearly signposts Re-entry permits. The one on the right doesn't. You go through Security first, then get the permit before Passport Control. If you pay the 200 service charge, you only need your passport. They will do the form and photo for you.

I already did a Re-Entry permit but at the immigration office and it was all good with the form that I filled plus I already have so many pictures. It's not about the money (of course), more like about saving time and being prepared :P

Yes, after Security but before Passport Control. I would allow an extra 30 minutes. For the sake of 200 baht, I would let them do the form and photo for you.

so it's after the checking and security control? And is it better if I already have the form with me?

And how long to you think it'll take? Like if I do the checking 2 hours before my flight, is it enough or should I come earlier?
