Re Entry Permit Question

Leaving Thailand for 2 weeks and just wanted to confirm the process of getting a re entry permit at suvarnabhumi airport. I have a non O 1 year visa.

I check in with my airline, get my ticket, go through security checks and then re entry permit office is before passport control and 1000 or 1200 baht fee?

Do I need to prepare any documents/photocopies/photos?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport when you have a NON-O 1 year visa, you need to follow these steps: After checking in with your airline and going through security, visit the re-entry permit office located in 'international departure 2' (near escalators 3 & 4) before passport control. The fee for the re-entry permit is 1200 baht, and you do not need to prepare any additional documents or photocopies.

Go to “international departure 2” (escalator 3 & 4), and you will see this inside. after security check, go down one floor, and turn right. It’s before passport control

Its a little tiny booth tucked in the corner, opposite from all the immigration officer desks. As soon as you turn the corner (towards immigration), you'll see it off by itself. You don't need to fill out or bring anything, just money. 😁

yes as above posts.

It’s really easy they take your money passport you have a seat then they come back with stamp in passport.

If not many people it doesn’t take long.

Best of luck
