Apologies if this a recurring issue but wanted some clarification on applying for 60 day extension based on marriage to a thai national (uk passport holder currently on a non-imm o 90 day visa).
My physical visa sticker has ‘valid until 29th October’ yet the passport stamp is valid until 5th November. Which one should be abided by and if the former, will this affect my ability to apply for a 60 day extension given that the visa has already expired?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on applying for a 60-day extension based on marriage to a Thai national while on a Non-O visa. They are confused about conflicting validity dates between their visa sticker and passport stamp. Comments clarify that the passport stamp is what determines their stay until 5th November, and they advise visiting immigration to apply for the extension anytime before that date.

thank you for clarification. As above I can confirm that the stamp reflects 90 days so was not a clerical error. I spoke with my local immigration early and to describe them as helpful would be extremely generous.
There are two different things at work here and you're confusing them
A VISA is something that lets you apply to get IN to the country. It is valid for a certain number of days; like your 90 day single entry Non-O which was valid for 90 days from the date it was issued. <- That means you had 90 days to ENTER thailand on that visa when you would be stamped in for the number of days allowed by the visa (which in your case is also 90 days).
The ENTRY STAMP you got when you stamped into the counry is what lets you STAY in thailand. So you're good to stay until the 5th of Nov.
The stamp - IF it's a 90 day stamp. Count the days on the entry and exit by stamp. If it's 90 days, you're good. If it's not 90 days, go to immigration and get it fixed ASAP.
