When should I apply for a 12-month extension on my Non-O visa before it expires?

I have a 90 day Non-O, married to a Thai, I did a 60 extension to allow the bank account to age, extension is till Mar 28. What is a reasonable time to apply for an extension prior to expiration? This will be for 12 months.
